The only airport in the city, Esenboğa International Airport (ESB) is located 35-40 km away from the meeting venue. It takes 40-60 minutes to commute between the airport and the venue, depending on traffic. For more information, please refer to the airport website.

Transportation within the City
Transportation network platforms such as Uber and Careem are not functional in Ankara. The best way to commute within the city is using yellow taxis. Taxis are easily accessible, and can be stopped anywhere. They run on meters, and the starting fare is TRY 4.00. The estimate fare from the airport to the meeting venue is 130 TRY (35 USD).
Climate
The weather in Ankara in April can be quite pleasant with temperatures averaging a high of 16 Co during the day, and 3 Co during the night. A day averages ten hours of sunshine.
Currency
The official currency in Turkey is the Turkish Lira (TRY). USD and Euro are the two most widely exchanged currencies in the country. Conversion information can be found online here.
Banks are open from Monday to Friday, within the working hours of 09.30 to 12.30 and 13.30 to 17.00.
Electricity

Official Language
The official local language is Turkish. English comes first among the second languages, but it is not widely spoken amongst the entire population.
Credit Cards
Credit cards are widely used in Turkey, and all kinds of cards should work; i.e. Visa, MasterCard, American Express (Amex), Visa Electron, and others. Nevertheless, carrying some cash is strongly recommended as credit cards are not accepted in taxis, buses, and some restaurants.
